Winter Upon Us

Well she is, isn't she? Funny thing how christmas is at the start of it. Everyone gets their presents and toys and then they grind the fuck through winter and make it on home to the sweet scent of the welcoming spring.

Man, I get off on my break the other day, I go walking around the mall and looking for a cheap drink to pay for in quarters. I find this little joint that does free refills for all mall employees. Damn near made my day. I get a coke and head outside to a little corner, it's kinda chilly but I got my suit on, love working at Macy's. I get out my Marlboros and light up and I notice all these butts around me, scattered on the ground. I said to myself, "Just a hundred people trying to chill the fuck out." and I finished that cig and head back on in for the rest of my shift.
